Three young men are in the hospital this morning after a crash in Morgan County.
It happened at about 8:30 p.m. Thursday night on Highway 5, just half-a-mile south of Versailles.
The Missouri Highway Patrol said 20-year-old Derek Garvin was driving northbound on Highway 5, trying to pass other northbound cars.
That's when the highway patrol says Garvin hit 19-year-old Christopher White and his passenger, 15-year-old Anthony Blacksten head on.
Garvin and White were taken by staff for life helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia.
White is listed in critical condition and Garvin is listed in serious condition.
Blacksten was transported to Capital Region hospital in Jefferson City with moderate injuries.
