If you are looking for something to do on Saturday April 28th, why not check out the Bark of Boone County in Stephens Lake Park in Columbia?

"Central Missouri Humane Society is going to be on hand at Bark of Boone County, with some of the dogs from the shelter, and people that are registered for the event that maybe don't have a dog of their own can walk one of our dogs,” said Colin La Vaute, the public information director of the Central Missouri Humane Society.

There also will be demonstrations, food, booths and a silent auction with items for both people and pets.

The early registration fee is $15 for people with one dog or who want to walk an adoptable dog, $20 for those with two dogs, and it's free for cancer survivors.
