MORGAN COUNTY, MO -- One suspect is in custody following a police chase Friday morning across three mid-Missouri counties.
The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office said the suspects stole a 4-wheeler in Moniteau County and then drove it to Morgan to steal a truck. Deputies in Moniteau County spotted the truck and pursued the suspects.
The driver led them on a chase back and forth between Morgan and Moniteau. The truck finally came to a stop in a muddy field just north of Tipton in Cooper County.
Deputies reported finding meth and drug items in the truck.
No word on names or charges.
