COLUMBIA -- Columbia Police are investigating a report of shots fired Monday night.

The caller said there was a large disturbance and shots fired in the 300-block of Bryant St. just before 7:30 p.m.

Officers said when they got to the scene there were a lot of people in the area running around and yelling.

Officers found one shell casing in the 300-block of Bryant and an unspent casing further down the street.

Officers didn't find any victims or property damage.

The investigation is ongoing.
