Osage County authorities have arrested four people suspected in a string of burglaries in three counties.

Sheriff officials say they were tipped off by locals in Westphalia when they reported seeing a suspicious vehicle in their area. Earlier in the month, many folks described the same vehicle being at the scene in other burglaries in the area.

The suspects, Kathryn Zavoral and Tuan Nguyen, both of Holt's Summit, were arrested by Westphailia, along with two Jefferson City residents that have yet to be identified by police. Zavoral and Nguyen were found to be in possession of stolen property.

Authorities later successfully recovered several thousand dollars worth of property that was taken from Boone, Cole, and Osage Counties; much of it near the suspect's residence in Holt's Summit. Deputies say they believe there is still more property to be recovered.

Nguyen is in Osage County jail being held on a no bond warrant, and Zavoral is in Osage County jail on a no bond warrant. Both have charges of burglary and stealing against them.

Other charges are pending.
