Many Mid-Missourians may be without their News Tribune Friday morning.

The Jefferson City News Tribune’s website states the lack of the newspaper is due to a mechanical issue.

The website said the folder on the printing press broke Thursday night, and they can’t print Friday’s paper.

The News Tribune’s website said they have arranged for the Columbia Tribune to print Friday's edition; but it makes no mention of when that would be.

Their site said they hope to have their press fixed Friday.
