A Columbia man is behind bars after police said he fled the scene of an accident.

Columbia Police arrested 25-year old Patrick Temme at his home around 5 p.m. Thursday.

Officers told KRCG Temme left the scene of an accident that involved an injury early Thursday morning on Paris Road.

His vehicle was found at his house, with damage consistent with the accident.

He's now in the Boone County jail.
