Original Story:

Tuesday morning commuters headed back after the Holiday weekend with a slick drive to work.

Cold, but above freezing, temperatures made for some slick conditions on overpasses, ramps, bridges and some roads.

County and State crews have responded to dozens of accidents in Mid-Missouri including an accident on the Missouri River Bridge in Jefferson City and several accidents on Highway 63, in both Boone and Callaway County.

Area law enforcement agencies called on MoDOT to treat the slick areas.
