Republican House leaders say they have a revised plan for revamping Missouri's business incentives, and they hope to vote on it Friday.
(AP) --
House leaders tout their latest version as a compromise worked out with Gov. Jay Nixon's office. But Senate leaders say they were not involved and warn that some of the changes could encounter trouble in their chamber.

Like the Senate version, the House bill would consolidate several of Missouri's existing business incentives into a streamlined program called Compete Missouri. And it would create new incentives for cargo exports at the St. Louis airport. But the House changed some of the specific details of how those programs would work.

The House version also would make fewer cuts to a tax credit for developers of low-income housing.
