Construction crews are working at a Columbia Hardee's after a customer crashed into the drive-thru area.
A manager at the Hardee's restaurant at Paris Road and Whitegate Drive said the crash happened around 9:00 p.m. Thursday. There were no injuries.
Columbia police said a male driver was pulling through the drive-thru when he said he saw something in front of his vehicle. He meant to stop, but accidently pressed the gas and drove into the Hardee's building.
Police said there were no injuries.
The inside portion of the restaurant is open, but the drive-thru is closed. It should be re-opened later today.
