March of Dimes walk raises big bucks

JEFFERSON CITY, MO -- The March of Dimes walk in Jefferson City raised nearly $130,000 on Sunday.

A thousand people came out for the annual March of Dimes Walk at Memorial Park. The event was sponsored by local groups, including KRCG and Meghan Lane was an emcee at the event. KPLA host Tim Murphy also emceed the event.

The March of Dimes is an organization that works to improve the health of moms and babies.
