In exchange for his guilty plea in Audrain County Court, a kidnapping charge was dropped.

Prosecutors say Jordan Harvey helped hold McNeely down while his father, Chester Harvey, suffocated him.

One day after Chester Harvey, Jr. pleaded guilty to killing an Ohio hitchhiker; his 16 year old son has a hearing in Audrain County Court.

Jordan Harvey is charged as an adult with 2nd degree murder and kidnapping. He has a hearing Tuesday morning.

Jordan's and his father's charges stem from the killing of Ohio man James McNeeley in December 2009. Jordan was 14 at the time of the murder at the Harvey's Laddonia home.

Chester Harvey, Jr. took the stand Monday and told a judge that he wants to take full responsibility for the murder of McNeely in effort to help his wife and children who also face charges in the killing. He was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Chester's wife Angela Harvey will be in court Monday in Boone County. 17 year old Ethan Harvey also faces charges as an adult in this murder.
