Pharmacy robbed at gunpoint

A Columbia Pharmacy was robbed at gunpoint just after 8 a.m. Thursday.

According to Columbia Police, officers were dispatched to Flow’s Pharmacy around 8:15 a.m. Thursday for an armed robbery. Victims told police the suspect went into the business asking for headache medication. Then, police said the victim approached a clerk behind the counter with a handgun asking for the medication.

The clerk gave the suspect medication. Police said the suspect then left the store and ran from the area. No suspect was arrested for the crime.

Police describe the person they’re looking for as a white male, 5-6 to 5-8, 150 to 160 pounds with brown or dark hair. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap with a black sweatshirt and pants and dark aviator type sunglasses.
