The Maries County Sheriff tells KRCG deputies have three people in custody in connection with a large meth lab bust. It happened Thursday evening just outside Vienna.

Sheriff Chris Heitman described the meth lab as one of the biggest the county has busted in the past few years.

Sheriff's deputies arrested 28 year old James Czeschin of Bland, 20 year old Chelsey M. Evans of Holts Summit and 21 year old Lacy Higginbotham of Chamois.

Deputies said Mitchell Krieg rents the home where the meth lab was discovered. He is wanted for questioning.

During the course of the search Sheriff Deputies located: a large scale and sophisticated methamphetamine lab, numerous items of drug paraphernalia, suspected methamphetamine, several weapons; and several thousand rounds of ammunition.
