A baby girl ushers in 2011 at a Mid Missouri Hospital

JEFFERSON CITY, MO. -- The first baby born in 2011 at St. Mary's Health Center in Jefferson City arrived at 10:04 Saturday morning.

Juh'stiz Noelle Ball is a healthy baby girl weighing 5lbs. 2oz. and she's 18 1/2 inches long.

While her proud parents, Alexondrea Walker and Malshon Ball say their new arrival came 11 days early, they were ready to meet her.

Alexondrea says after 23 hours of labor she is more than thrilled to ring in the new year with her baby girl.
