JEFFERSON CITY, MO. -- You might be wondering what to do with your Douglas Fir since Christmas has come and gone.

The Jefferson City Parks and Recreation Department has a solution.

Starting Sunday, Dec. 26 you can drop off your tinsel-free tree in Washington Park by the baseball fields until January 31st.

And in Boone County, residents can trade their tree for a bag of mulch at Boone Electric Cooperative through January 10th.
