COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) -- A 20-year-old eastern Missouri man who admitted to participating in the killing of an Ohio drifter wants to withdraw his guilty plea.

On Monday, Chad Harvey told KMIZ.com that he and other family members accused in the case were under the control of their father and feared they would be harmed.

The frozen corpse of the 20-year-old James William Boyd McNeely was found Dec. 22 east of Vandalia in the refrigerated compartment of Harvey's father's rig.

Harvey's father, Chester Harvey, his stepmother and two younger brothers also are charged with murder. Chester Harvey has said McNeely hurt his family.

Audrain County Prosecutor Jacob Shellabarger said he would oppose Chad Harvey's possible effort to withdraw the second-degree murder plea.

Chad Harvey's public defender, Stephan Bell, didn't immediately return a phone call seeking comment.
