JEFFERSON CITY, MO. -- The Jefferson City Police are investigating an armed robbery on the 500 block of Ellis Boulevard that happened Thursday around 8:55 a.m.
The female victim said she heard a knock at her apartment’s door around 8:50 a.m. When she opened the door, a man held up a handgun and ordered her onto her bed. The robber demanded money and the keys to her vehicle.
The robber fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash, but left the keys.
Police said in a news release the victim could only describe the robber as a white male with a moustache.
