Search finds 14 pounds of marijuana

A Columbia man is in jail after Boone County deputies served a drug search warrant at 1965 Old Plank Village Drive.

When deputies searched the residence they found about 14 pounds of marijuana, items associated with the distribution of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a stolen firearm.

31 year old Brent Hill was arrested for possession with the intent to distribute, felon in possession of a firearm, receiving stolen property greater than $500.00, endangering the welfare of a child and possession of drug paraphernalia.

This investigation was initiated as a result of an earlier 911 dispatched call. 

Brent Hill is currently in custody at the Boone County Jail awaiting for his bond to be set.
