The Boone County Sheriff's Department is reporting 30 arrests from Saturday morning's sobriety checkpoint.

Deputies stopped nearly 300 drivers near the 200 Block of Old Plank Road East in Columbia. The checkpoint started Saturday morning just after midnight and lasted until 3 A.M.

From those 30 arrests, 11 were for DWI offenses, 15 were for adult liquor law violations, one was for a revoked license, another was for a fake identification card, and two arrests were for zero tolerance violations.
