BOONE COUNTY, MO. -- Confessed murder Greg Morton was sentenced Tuesday in accordance to his plea agreement with Boone County prosecutors.

Morton was sentenced to 19 years in prison for shooting Mitch Kemp in 2004.

Greg agreed to testify against his former wife Tausha Morton in order to plead guilty to second degree murder.

A Boone County jury convicted Tausha Morton for first degree murder.

Tausha faces life in prison for luring Kemp to a Boone County farm where he was shot by Greg.

Tausha stayed quiet for more than three years about where Kemp’s body was buried.
