COLUMBIA, MO. -- A Columbia woman is in the Boone County jail, accused of trying to run over her child's father Sunday afternoon.

Authorities said Elizabeth Moffett, 35, tried to attack her boyfriend with her car in the 900 block of Jefferson Street.

The man told police that he was barely able to get out of the way.

A passenger told authorities that Moffet was under the influence of crack cocaine and alcohol.

Moffett faces a long list of charges including suspicion of driving while intoxicated, domestic violence, leaving the scene of an accident and resisting arrest.

Moffet’s bond is set at $42,000.
