The Miller County parents, Calvin and Corina White, accused of dropping off their 18 month old on a doorstep in freezing weather, have been charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

Documents obtained said Calvin was the one taking care of his son last Thursday when he chose to abandon the baby in Miller County.

Calvin said he's not sure when he abandoned his son or how long the baby was left alone.

Court documents show the baby's mother, Corina, was not with Calvin at the time.

Her child endangerment charge stems from leaving her son in Calvin's care, who she said used drugs and abused her.

She was not present when he made the decision to abandon the toddler.
