COLUMBIA -- Medical examiners in Columbia performed an autopsy on eight-month-old Eddie Salazar Jr.

The results have not yet been released.

Baby Eddie's body was found Saturday afternoon wedged against a tree on the bank of a river near Carthage, Mo.

The boy’s father said his son was abducted during a violent home invasion.

Now, Eddie Salazar Sr., 28, is the primary suspect in the death of his son.
