MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MO. -- Police in Montgomery County are investigating a bank robbery.
At around 10 a.m. a lone robber walked into the Martinsburg Bank and Trust in Montgomery City, threatened to shoot and demanded money. The robber never displayed a gun.
The suspect is described as a black male with a slim build, about 5-feet 5-inches tall, wearing a light blue hooded sweatshirt, black pants and a black ski mask.
He was last seen driving away in a silver car, about the size of a Dodge Stratus.
No one was hurt during the robbery.
The bank was closed for about three hours, then re-opened
The suspect walked away with almost $10,000 in cash.
