Double murder suspect in court

COLE COUNTY, MO. -- The man accused of a double murder in Jefferson City in September will be in appear in court for a status hearing today.

David Hosier is accused of gunning down Jefferson City couple Angela and Rodney Gilpin, in their apartment on West High Street.

He then fled to Oklahoma leading police on an eight hour manhunt.

Hosier was indicted last week by a Cole County jury for first-degree murder, armed criminal action, first-degree burglary, and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon.

Police said he had a romantic relationship with Angela Gilpin while she was separated from her husband.
