MARIES COUNTY -- A Maries County man has been arrested after a two hour manhunt this weekend.
The Maries County sheriff says Wilber Lajeness, 34, of Belle was eventually arrested in a wooded area off Lenhoff Drive in Belle city limits.
Lajeness apparently had active warrants out of Osage County, Owensville, and Gasconade County.
He fled after Maries County deputies tried to arrest him.
Lajeness is currently being held in the Maries County jail.
