CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) -- An employee of a Sonic restaurant in southeast Missouri is accused of cooking methamphetamine at the restaurant.

The Southeast Missourian reported on its Web site Thursday that 27-year-old Dennie Bratcher is charged with second-degree burglary and attempt to manufacture a controlled substance.

There was no telephone listing for Bratcher in the Cape Girardeau area.

Police were called at 1:57 a.m. Thursday to a burglary in process at the restaurant. A probable cause statement says police found Bratcher cooking a batch of meth.

Bratcher is a shift manager at the restaurant.
