Flags at all state and local government buildings around Missouri will be flown at half-staff today, in observance of Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, as designated by a 1996 state law.

This year is the 68th anniversary of the surprise Japanese attack on the U.S. naval base in Hawaii that eventually brought the United States into WWII.
