Higbee, Mo. is experiencing a broken water main.

As the city loses water, the city will be shutting down operations at 2 p.m.

The Higbee School District R-8 will be dismissing at 2:15 p.m.

City officials are not sure what caused the main to break. Crews are currently working to fix the problem, but are not sure when the main will be repaired.
