JEFFERSON CITY -- A man is in custody this morning after he was caught burglarizing Tolson's Drug Store in Jefferson City just after 3 a.m.

Police say, the man smashed the front glass door of the store and was trying to get out with some items when officers arrived.

The store is on High Street in downtown Jefferson City.

Police have not released the man's name.
