MARIES COUNTY -- The Missouri Highway Patrol said a Maries County woman was killed this morning in a head-on collision on Highway 63.

Investigators said Linda Starmer, 47, of Vienna was southbound near the intersection of 63 and Scenic Ridge Trails when her vehicle crossed the center line and struck a car driven by an Arkansas man who suffered only minor injuries.

Starmer was pronounced dead at the scene.
