Three young men were injured Sunday afternoon after the car they were in crashed just north of Kingdom City CALLAWAY COUNTY -- on Highway 54, just south of County Road 240 in Callaway County.

Highway Patrol reports say the vehicle was heading west on Highway 54 and driving too fast.

The car went off the left side of the road, hit a concrete barrier, flipped, and then caught fire.

The driver of the car, Joseph Harrington, 21, from the state of Washington, is at University Hospital in critical condition.

Also in the car were Kyle Mackey, 17, and Tihon Tomic, 18, both from Auxvasse.

Mackey has since been discharged. Tomic is in fair condition.

All three men were wearing their seat belts.

You are right....... but MY insurance shouldn't go up because someone had the RIGHT to be stubborn. If you want to ride a motorcycle with no helmet, drive a car with no seatbelt, use illegal drugs, or jump out of a plane with no chute so be it. Just don't expect the rest of us to take care of you!

Yeah well...

It should still be a personal choice as to whether we want to wear them or not.

Imagine that

This goes to prove that seatbelts save lives. Lets see the vehicle crashed, overturned, and caught fire yet all three passengers survived. Amazing
