CHEROKEE COUNTY, OK -- The man charged in the double murder of a Jefferson City couple in their apartment last month now faces more charges in Oklahoma.

An Oklahoma newspaper reports David Hosier, 54, was charged for eluding a police officer and running a roadblock.

Hosier is now in the Cherokee County, Okla. Detention Center after his arrest following a brief pursuit.

Hosier fled to Oklahoma after Jefferson City police say he shot and killed Angela Gilpin, 45, and Rodney Gilpin, 61, in their apartment in late September.

The status of Hosier's return to Missouri to face charges here is unknown.
