VIENNA -- Maries County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a man who led them on a high speed chase, crashed the car injuring his passenger and ran from the scene.

The incident started when Smith sped away on Highway 63 after deputies tried to pull him over on Maries County Road 325.

His female passenger was injured in the crash and taken to a local hospital.
