Graffiti spray-painted at museum, statue

FULTON -- Fulton police are on the lookout for vandals who defaced the Berlin Wall sculpture, the Winston Churchill statute and the adjoining Churchill Museum at Westminster College.

Sometime over the weekend vandals spray-painted, tauntingly: "Who are we?" and "Why?" at the historic Fulton sites. Some of the dark blue graffiti was accompanied by the outline of a head with a question mark inside.

Police found similar images and messages in two other Fulton locations, including a business where the spray paint used in the incident was stolen.

Because the Churchill site is on the national register of historic places, authorities are checking to see if a federal crime was committed.

If you have any information you're urged to call Fulton police.
