Crowd Chants '¡Si, Se Puede!' After Passage of Immigration Bill

After the Senate Judiciary Committee passed the "Gang of 8" Immigration bill with minimal amendments, the crowd erupted in cheers first chanting "Yes, we can!" After the Chair of the committee, Senator Leahy announced that he was going to "pretend" to ask for order, the crowd began shouting "¡Si, Se Puede!" Leahy invited the excited audience to approach the Senate committee stands to give and receive congratulations and to celebrate with other Senate members.

Outgoing Chief Admits IRS Targeting 'Partisan'

In Tuesday's testimony before the Senate, outgoing IRS chief Steven Miller apparently reversed course under some tough questioning by Republican Senator Richard Burr of North Carolina. During his testimony last week, Miller not only insisted that the singling out of conservative Tea Party groups for paralyzing harassment was not political but that it wasn't even targeting. During his testimony today, Miller not only stopped objecting to the use of the word "targeting," but seemed to agree with Burr that the targeting was in fact partisan.

Anthony Weiner: I'm running for New York City mayor

In an online video, ex-congressman Anthony Weiner says he's going to run for NYC mayor. Weiner resigned from Congress after admitting he sent lewd pictures of himself to several women via Twitter. Jim Axelrod reports on Weiner's decision.
