New Orleans madam says Sen. David Vitter was client of a brothel

Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at 11:15 a.m.

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - New revelations about Louisiana lawmaker David Vitter are making for a hazy political future for the senator. On Monday, Vitter acknowledged he was involved with a Washington, DC escort service that federal prosecutors call a prostitution ring. And now, new claims are surfacing that he regularly visited a New Orleans brothel.

Jeanette Maier says Vitter was once a client at her Canal Street brothel -- and that he was a "normal, decent guy" who seemed to be looking for company. Maier pleaded guilty to running the operation in 2002. Maier says all the girls who worked there had only "nice things to say" about Vitter. She says, "It wasn't all about sex. In fact, he just wanted to have somebody listen to him."

It's about time someone, in the government, admits to being normal. Most of the elected official just don't get caught! It sure didn't take Bill long after looking at Hillary's goofy face to find Monica. Oh well...Men will be men as long as there are willing good looking women available.....Please don't use our taxpayer dollars for your fun, use the bribe money you all get..
