INDEPENDENCE, Mo. (AP) -- Investigators say a search warrant served Monday night at the Jackson County home of Burrell Mohler Jr. turned up boxes of books and a couple of journals, but nothing overtly incriminating.

Col. Ben Kenney of the Jackson County Sheriff's Office says a former wife of Burrell Mohler Jr., who goes by his middle name "Ed," called and told investigators about a storage shed at Mohler's residence.

Mohler, along with his father, three brothers and an uncle are jailed on charges of raping and molesting young relatives over roughly a decade beginning in the mid-1980s. Other accusations include impregnating at least two girls and forcing one to have an abortion when she was 11.

All six Mohlers remain behind bars.
