KINGDOM CITY -- UPDATE:

Emergency crews say Interstate 70 is clear after a tractor trailer jackknifed and lost debris all over the road.

One lane on I-70 eastbound was backed up for about six hours. The driver was not injured.

PREVIOUS STORY:

Emergency crews are currently clearing the scene of a tractor trailer accident that happened around 2 a.m. this morning on Interstate 70 just east of Kingdom City.

The driving lane of traffic is blocked- the passing lane is open.

The Highway Patrol tells KRCG they don't suspect any injuries but say clean up is taking awhile. They don't exactly know what's in the rig, but we are told it's nothing hazardous.
