CALLAWAY COUNTY -- Callaway counties deputies believe a series of break-ins and a case of vandalism may be connected.

Construction workers at New Bloomfield High School reported Wednesday that someone had caused $40,000 worth of damage to three dump trucks and a tanker truck.

While on the scene deputies found a cash drawer. The drawer had been recently stolen from the Mokane Bar and Grill. During that break-in, burglars also took cigarettes and beer.

Both of the crimes lead deputies to another break-in at Mokane City Hall. Someone broke glass and tossed papers around. Someone also broke into the jump start gas station in Williamsburg on Tuesday, deputies aren't sure if that break-in is connected to the other three crimes.

Investigators are looking for tips to crack these cases and Crime Stoppers is offering a reward-their number is (573) 642-7291.
