COLE COUNTY -- A mid-Mo. man is in fair condition and a woman in good condition today after their vehicles collided Friday afternoon in Cole County causing both serious injuries.

The accident happened on Highway 50 near Nine Hills Road just after 1 p.m. Friday.

Michael Duke, 35, of Linn was driving his pick-up westbound on the highway when Jo Johnson, 70, of Centertown, pulled out of Nine Hills into his path. Duke then hit Johnson on her drivers side door.

Johnson was life flighted to University hospital and Duke was to the Columbia facility there from St Mary’s Health Center.
