KINGDOM CITY -- A storm passed over Boone County also prompting a tornado warning in Kingdom City. Nothing touched down, but city leaders say it's just another example of why they need outdoor sirens.
Today Kingdom City officials tested mobile weather sirens at two locations this afternoon.
The test was meant to find the locations where the sirens would be heard by the most people. And city officials hope these tests could help the process of buying two sirens for the city.
The nearby city of Auxvasse just recently installed weather sirens.
