LINN -- Four teens were taken into custody under suspicion for stealing a car on Wednesday, June 10.

Rusty D. Rudd, 18, of Loose Creek, Bobbie A. Troesser, 17, of Linn, Randy L. Rudd, 17, of Steedman and Ashley M. Wohlers, 19, of Fulton are suspected of stealing a 1997 Chevrolet 3500 series 4x 4 truck from Westphalia, Mo.

A stolen soda machine found on the shoulder of Highway 63 on Tuesday, June 9, and a stolen News Tribune machine found June 10, led to the arrests of the four teens. The stolen truck was seen under a shed near the newspaper machine. After a preliminary investigation by Osage County police, the four teens were taken into custody.

Formal charges are pending.
