ST. ELIZABETH -- Update May 27 6 p.m.:
Miller County Sheriff Bill Abbott tells KRCG the highway patrol is testing a gun to see if it matches the 22 caliber bullet recovered from an 11-year-old boy's leg after he was shot last week.
Abbott said no one has been arrested and still believes that the boy was not a target when he was hit as he stood in his grandparents' yard in St. Elizabeth.
Abbott says it was likely a stray bullet from someone illegally hunting from their car.
The boy is still recovering at University Hospital in Columbia.
Update May 25 6 p.m.
Family members tell KRCG the 11-year-old boy shot in the leg while playing in his grandparent's yard is now able to move that leg.
Miller County investigators are still working to figure out who fired a bullet that hit the boy Friday as he stood outside on his grandparent’s property in St. Elizabeth.
Paramedics rushed him to University Hospital in Columbia for surgery.

Neighbors say they did see someone shooting a gun out of a black pickup truck at two homes in the neighborhood.

Investigators in Miller County are working to figure out who fired a bullet that hit a 11-year-old boy.
The boy was hit in the leg as he stood in his front yard around 7:30 p.m. Thursday on Ridge Road in St. Elizabeth, according to police.
Paramedics rushed him to University Hospital in Columbia for surgery. Miller County's Sheriff says the bullet lodged in the boy's leg bone. He's expected to make a full recover.
On Friday he was listed in fair condition.
