A Missouri State Senate committee began two weeks of hearings to consider making Interstate 70 a toll road.

State Senator Mike Kehoe has introduced a bill authorizing MoDOT to form a public-private partnership to finance, develop and operate I-70 as a toll facility.

Those hearings begin Wednesday morning.
