The Camden County Sheriff's Department responded to a call that 26-year-old Bonnie Hipple was intoxicated and had drove with her small child to a residence at Horseshoe Bend Parkway in the village of Four Seasons. When officers arrived, Hipple admitted to driving, but she refused a sobriety test.

The Maries County prosecutor charged Annie Crull, 25, with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child in the first degree, which is a felony along with abuse or neglect of a child, which is also a felony.
