Maintenance crews were picking up the pieces of an apartment in Jefferson City, after a van went crashing through the side wall on Thursday.

The accident happened just before noon at Broadmoor apartment complex, after a women driving a van accidentally drove down a hill, then backed into an apartment unit.

 Witnesses reported that the woman then left the scene and walked to work.

Jefferson City police would not release information concerning the incident.
