A woman charged in connection to the 2010 murder of a Sunrise Beach man is expected to be in court Monday for a criminal setting.

Stacy Dory and her husband, Desre Dory of Shawnee, Kan., are charged with forgery and second-degree murder in the killing of William Van Note, 67, and his partner Sharon Dickson, 59, at their Lake of the Ozarks vacation home.

Court documents allege the couple helped forge a legal document used to deny Van Note life-sustaining medical treatment.

The couple has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Camden County Prosecutor Brian Keedy has said the Dorys were not involved with the shooting and stabbing of William Van Note.

Desre Dory's jury trial is scheduled to begin on February 26.

William Van Note's daughter, Kansas City law firm owner Susan Elizabeth Van Note, also is charged in the killing.

Susan Van Note's jury trial is scheduled to begin in November.

The Kansas City lawyer was scheduled to go on trial for forgery and first-degree murder in Boone county in December but it was delayed.

Van Note is free on bond and has pleaded not guilty.
