COLUMBIA- A major announcement from the University of Missouri-Columbia's athletic department today: an $8.3 Million donation from the Walsworth family of Marceline, Missouri.

That money will help pay for renovations to Memorial Stadium and a new clubhouse for the men's and women's golf teams at the Club at Old Hawthorne.

The gift will improve MU's athletic facilities as the college continues its transition to the SEC.
